SYSTEM OF A DOWN coming to NZ

It is official, the mighty SYSTEM OF A DOWN will be playing a New Zealand show.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN are the headline act for the massive five city Soundwave Festival in Australia. Prior to their engagement at Australasia’s premier rock event and now SYSTEM OF A DOWN will play their own headline show at The Trusts Stadium Arena, West Auckland on Wednesday February 22nd.

One night only, with very special guests The Dillinger Escape Plan.

This will be the first time SYSTEM OF A DOWN have played in NZ following a six year hiatus that ended in 2011 with the band reuniting for a string of European festival appearances. Straight back into the top slots SOAD headlined the mainstages including the Download Festival alongside Def Leppard and Linkin Park and Rock am Ring with Kings Of Leon and Coldplay.

New Zealand audiences have always loved SOAD and this passionate support and bond has only strengthened if anything during the recent hiatus years, as vocalist Serj Tankian holds NZ residency and regularly lives on these shores.
